The Ultra Tru-Arc Derailleur Hanger Alignment Tool is a hand built, no-holds-barred, ultra-precise masterpiece. This beauty is handmade in the USA at our Washougal, Washington factory.

Our indicator rod can rotate out of the way of chainstays, seatstays and fender struts. It will spin a full 360 degrees and then click back to the “90 degree” position without losing your measurement. The main pivot bolt is machined from 4140 Cro-Moly, is heat treated for toughness, and hard-turned after heat treatment to ensure precision. Meanwhile, the pivot housing is honed to match each pivot bolt. This process achieves the absolute minimum clearance resulting in zero perceptible freeplay.

Brett is the named inventor of Shimano patent # 7467477 which covers features on both the Ultra Tru-Arc and the Shimano TL-RD11. Truly an honor, he is the only non-employee to be named on a Shimano patent.
